New York Live Arts: pluralism, critical dialogue, and social change
The Open Spectrum Dialogue series featured three critical conversations featuring renowned artists, thought leaders, and cultural workers inviting audiences into an open dialogue about the role of the artist in 21st century movement building, creative resistance to economic injustice, and the meaning of a post-white America. Each conversation included a Twitter chat prior to the live dialogue. The entire series was moderated by Piper Anderson.
651 Arts: Activating Community and envisioning cultural equity
651 Arts invited Create Forward Founder, Piper Anderson to co-facilitate a creative community think tank with Marc Bamuthi Joseph. Over an 8-month period, Brooklyn community members came together to discuss the changing landscape of Brooklyn and its impact on identity, culture, and how we love.
